My beautiful friend, Marie, just celebrated her first Mother's Day yesterday. She and her husband, Brandon, are waiting for their little one to arrive. It's such a special time, waiting for the first baby. Such eagerness and anticipation.

I can hardly wait to meet their little bundle of joy! :)

{Wichita Senior Portraits} Katlin

With all of the crazy weather in April, we managed to squeeze in Katlin's senior portrait session. After seeing her friend, Jordan's, portraits, she gave us a call. It's always flattering when this happens. And with the excellent locations Katlin chose, it was also tons of fun!

How stunning are these black & white images? I just love them!

Katlin is on one of the roller derby teams in Wichita ... it sounds like a TON of fun! 

We were losing the light, but it made for some interesting hues in the sky. A fun portrait overall.

{Salina Family Portraits} Alex & Seth's Family

It's always a pleasure and an honor when our couples ask us to take their family portraits. When Alex asked me to take 2-year-old portraits of Miss B, I was completely excited! Of course, we had to grab a family photo, too!

It was a brisk April day when we took portraits, which can be rough for little ones. We still managed to get an amazing photo of B, though.

Alex coordinated their attire so well. I love that their shirts don't perfectly match, but compliment one another.

Sarah and Austin's engagement album is simply stunning! Most of our couples opt for one, either to use as a guest book or to simply preserve the memories of their engagement. Either way, they're awesome!

On Monday, I met up with JulieAnn + Paul for some engagement portraits. With how crazy the weather has been, the warm afternoon was such a pleasure to spend photographing! 

These two are so natural together - and a lot of fun to photograph. :)
