There are so many fantastic photos of this little lady, I couldn't choose just one. SO.... I put together a little collage.

It's such a pleasure to photograph Amanda and Vince's growing family. It seriously seems like yesterday they asked me into their home to document their son, Oliver. Now he's almost a year and a half old, walking, talking and just full of personality!

Amanda and Vince, thank you from the bottom of my heart for welcoming me into your home and your family. I adore watching your beautiful babes grow!

Jessica + Chris' wedding preview (part 2)

Jessica and Chris chose The Neighborhood Church, in Palos Verdes Estates, California, as the site for their wedding this past weekend. With a view like this it's no wonder the church often books three weddings per Saturday!


On the ride to the reception, Jessica and Chris check out their new bling.


Their reception was held overlooking beach at the The Chart House Restaurant, which has big windows on three sides. Because their wedding was early in the day, the afternoon light poured in for the dance.


Following the reception, the wedding party – including bridesmaids Caroline, Annie and Marisa – took a stroll on the beach.


It was great to see a wedding party have such a great time celebrating their friends' big day. Here groomsmen Jeremy, Chase and Levi share an inside joke with Chris before the start of the ceremony.

A few weeks ago, I headed over to Amanda and Vince's house to meet the newest addition to their family — Elizabeth ... at 8 days old!

Jessica + Chris' wedding preview (part 1)

I ran into Jessica's bridesmaids in the hotel lobby after the wedding last night and they asked me to update the blog with a few images from Jessica's marriage to Chris. Here's one of the last images we made just as the sun was setting behind the Santa Monica Pier. Because Jessica and Chris were married at 10 o'clock in the morning, their reception wrapped up around dinner time which provided us with a few hours of nice light to romp and play on the pier. Jessica + Chris' rehearsal dinner

Karen and I are in the Los Angeles area this weekend for Jessica and Chris' wedding. Because we're from out of town, they invited us to their rehearsal dinner last night. After we had a quick walk through at the church, we headed over to this quaint Greek cafe in Long Beach. I sat across and down from the happy couple which was the perfect spot to watch them interact as we watched a slideshow of their old childhood photos Chris had prepared. We'll be heading off to the church shortly for what promises to be a fantastic wedding! -Mike

Amanda's Pregnancy Portrait Session — baby No. 2!

A few weeks ago, I headed over to Amanda and Vince's house to document the couple's second pregnancy.

Drew's Sizzlin' Senior Portrait Session

Wow! I seriously don't even know where to begin. This weekend, I trekked to Hays for Drew's Senior Portrait Session, which ROCKED! It was smokin' hot! Literally! There were heat advisories, but that didn't stop one determined senior and one equally determined photographer to capture Drew's essence.

We started off at Thomas More Prep-Marian High School, where Drew is a basketball starter. His dad, Joe, also happens to be the coach, so we had amazing access to the gym and the facilities! BUT the gym is NOT air conditioned, so we all worked up a serious sweat. Ugh-tastic!


After Drew freshened up, we headed around Hays to take some more relaxed portraits ... but he couldn't leave his basketball at the gym!

Mary + Ty's wedding slideshow

Mary and Ty were married two weeks ago in Phillipsburg. They agreed to see each other before the ceremony so we could get all of the group formals out of the way. I'm sure glad they did! Doing so ensured that we had time for romantic portraits following the ceremony while their guests made their way to the reception. Karen and I found this old car for sale while scouting locations after rehearsal and we both immediately knew it would make a dynamic portrait. Karen shot this wide angle version while I was shooting with a longer lens.
