{Wichita Family Portraits} Amy + Matt's Family

Amy and Matt have such a sweet family. Their youngest girl is surely hamming it up! :)

Love the mommy/daddy with their son and mom/dad with the girls. :)

{Salina Family Portraits} Cindy & Patrick and crew :)

Cindy is one of our regulars around here. The best part about photographing her boys for consecutive years is that they get more cooperative and agreeable when I ask them to do something. :) It also helps that I brought candy last year. And this year (only I sort of forgot to give it to them after the session was over ... resulting in a mad dash back so they won't hold it against me next year!)

These three guys can be pretty sweet.

Of course, they can be pretty silly, too!

{Wichita Senior Portraits} Alex

Met up with Alex a few weeks ago for some senior portraits. Classic. Timeless. Fantastic.

Alex plays soccer at Maize South. They had an amazing season!

Gosh, I love this in B&W!

We wanted to catch sunset atop the bleachers at the high school. Love those Kansas sunsets!

{K-State Engagement Portraits} Janessa + Neal

Last weekend, I met up with Janessa and Neal in Manhattan for some engagement portraits. We spent a few hours revisiting a few of their favorite haunts, and capturing some memories along the way.

The duo met while living in Goodnow Hall, which is where we started our photographic adventure. They're an incredibly playful couple, which makes taking pictures of them a fun task. :)

We next headed over to the engineering building, where these two spent countless hours. This picture makes me happy in so many ways .... it could be something I would have taken as a photographer for the campus paper ... just a pair of lovers on a beautiful afternoon.

Love, love, love!

The session concluded atop Memorial Stadium. The session could not have been more perfect!

We're looking forward to next fall, when Janessa and Neal will tie the knot! :)

{K-State Engagement Portraits} Amber + Lucas

Ahhhh, Amber and Lucas. This sweet couple met at K-State, where Lucas was playing football. When we were talking about their engagement portraits, they wanted to incorporate the field into the session. Little did we know how cold and blustery it would be the morning of their engagement session!

But the cold gave them ample reason to snuggle closely. As if they needed any prodding to do so!

It's been a year since I've been to Bill Snyder Family Stadium in Manhattan. It's so stunning that they were able to completely demolish and reconstruct the west-side of the boxes/pressbox. Incredible!

We headed over to campus to grab a few images there, too. Thankfully it warmed up in the sun!

How cute are these two? :)

When the weather is wonky, it can lead to some interesting skies and sunsets. Glad we braved the evening because the resulting image is amazing! :)

We're looking forward to your 2014 wedding, Amber and Lucas!

{Products} Vanessa + Tobi's Wedding Album

Vanessa and Tobi's wedding album arrived just before their first wedding anniversary! It's fabulous and I was so pleased to be able to deliver it in person. :) Happy Anniversary, you two!

{Camp Aldrich Wedding Photography} Stephanie + Jared

Saturday was completely perfect for Setphanie and Jared as they pledged their love and joined their lives together.

There were so many personal touches to the day. This farming couple had touches of John Deere everywhere from the fellas to their toasting glasses.

While many couples do a First Look, Stephanie and Jared skipped that portion of the day. Instead, she had a very emotional first few moments with her dad. It was so sweet. Since she's a farm girl, Stephanie rarely gets "all dolled up" for any events, so seeing her in her bridal gown was such a special memory for these two.

After their wedding in Ellinwood, we headed to Camp Aldrich for the reception. It was the perfect site for this couple!

Jared even brought the Classic John Deere tractors for the reception!

Amy from Yours Truly coordinated the event ... the reception was simply stunning! The decor was amazing, with much of it coming from Stephanie's house and many of the antlers coming from the fields around their home.

It was such a perfect day for a wedding ... and a truly beautiful wedding as well. Thank you for asking us to capture your memories. :)
