Ahhhh, Amy & Matt's family ... I love our annual fall portrait session in Wichita. With 4 kiddos, sessions can be tricky, but Amy told me "I just want ONE PICTURE for our Christmas card." ... I think we got it, mama! I know how tricky 3-year-olds can be, but we managed one moment of calm! :)

The outtakes from this session are so classic - if I get permission, I'll be sure to share, because they're a scream!

{Wichita Family Portraits} Amy + Matt

Woah! Fall family portrait season already? Yes, it is! I met up on Saturday with Amy and Matt's family in Wichita for family portraits. When I emailed Amy a few months ago to schedule, her initial reaction was "we just had pictures done" .... in September 2013. Yikes! Has it really been a year?

So Amy worked up this adorable B&W w/ red color scheme for their portraits. :) Love!

For those of you who are new around here, Amy is our amazing graphic designer. All of those wonderful albums? She does the design for them. We "heart" her lots & lots! :)

Wasn't the weather in Wichita on Saturday PERFECT for family portraits? Oh goodness, it was just divine. :)

Amy and Matt have such a sweet family. Their youngest girl is surely hamming it up! :)

Love the mommy/daddy with their son and mom/dad with the girls. :)

Sisters

Lauren is a force of nature. She is non-stop energy and enthusiasm for life.

And she was wearing an awesome pink flower in her hair. Really, who doesn't love that!?!??!?? :)

And then there's Chloe, who I haven't seen in a year (sitting on the left). Isn't she getting BIG?


I just love these in-between moments during portrait sessions. When Amy and Matt wanted a quick photo of themselves, and they set Chloe on the fireplace. And then force of nature Lauren decided it'd be a good place to be .... and to play with her stocking. Ahhhh.....the spontaneousness of youth!

Anyhow, I suspect we'll see more of this pink flower loveliness once the weather warms up and we con do some more structured family portraits in the great out-of-doors.

Amy's super sexy pregnancy portraits

It feels a little odd to be referring to my favorite graphic designer as "super sexy" but .... Amy IS a beautiful pregnant lady! Just LOOK at her!

And remember how smokin' hot she looked in her preview images HERE?

Well, the rest of her family WAS included in the portraits, including energetic, carefree, 3-year-old Lauren!


Amy and Matt, THANK YOU for the wonderful afternoon! I can't wait to meet your new little girl in a few short weeks!

Meet Amy.

Not only is she stunningly beautiful, she is one of the warmest people I've ever met. She's also our uber-talented graphic designer here at Heartland. We *heart* Amy! :-)

Anyhow, she and her husband are getting ready to welcome their second child in a few months.
