{Wichita Wedding Photography} Brittany + Cory

Oh goodness, where to START with the yumminess that was Brittany + Cory's wedding?

These two were married about three weeks ago at Bartlett Arboretum. The day was filled with love, laughter, and ultra-fabulous details Brittany meticulously put together.

The ladies started the day at Charisma before heading to the ceremony.

Of course, with their KU engagement session, one would expect to see a Jayhawk somewhere in the wedding day.

Brittany + Cory's daughter is so sweet, and was so excited for Mommy and Daddy to get married. It was so moving to see her involvement in the day.

Of course while the ladies did girl things, of course the fellas did dude things.

Individually, an awesome looking couple.

Together, at their first look, smoldering hot!

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. We love a good "First Look," which is EXACTLY what Brittany + Cory had. It was a special moment for the two of them before we started taking photos with the bridal party and family.

LOVE the details around the Arboretum. :)

It was a beautiful walk into the ceremony site. :)

Since they have a kiddo, they were sure to have something for little fingers to be occupied with during the ceremony. Love it!

Their little girl as the flower girl - SO sweet!

Vows are so much more fun when the pastor is a friend of the couple. :)

The perfect conclusion to any wedding ceremony = rose petals. The end.

Beautiful. Family.

Breathtaking. Bride.

Fabulous. Couple.

Old Cowtown Museum is such a great reception location!

As always, the toasts were fantastic ...

... so was the party.

Thanks for inviting us to document your wedding memories, Brittany + Cory!

{Great Bend Engagement Photography} Sarah + Austin

Meet Sarah + Austin. Not quite two weeks ago, I headed to Great Bend for their engagement session.

These two are obviously gaga for one another, which made photographing them a breeze!

Sarah has some seriously amazing eyes!

Is it April yet??? Because Mike and I are ready for your wedding! :)

{Salina Family Portraits} Cindy + Patrick's family

It's that time of year again. When I meet up with Cindy and Patrick for some family portraits. Yet not all of their portraits are quite so .... serene. It's because of this trio:

Oh yes! Their three boys. :) See how restrained they are, just trying SO HARD to be good and follow directions?

Of course, with three boys, a bit of mischief will happen.

Or just plain mayhem. ;) Of course, I did suggest the dog pile, so I have to take responsibility for it.

Even after three years of photographing this group, their youngest can be a bit shy from time to time. Oh well, he's so insanely cute, who cares?

{Wichita Engagement Photography} Dani + Devon

I want to introduce you to Dani and Devon, a couple who just exudes love and affection. I met up with them a week or so ago for their engagement session. They made my job easy!

They're just so absolutely sweet with one another! And with some sweet sunset action, well, you see how awesome it was.

One of the first things Dani told me about them was that Devon is a firefighter and they wanted to do something with his gear for their e-session. I'm always game for something fun and personal. :)

Photographing them was the easy part; the difficult part was narrowing down my selections to a manageable number!

Another aspect of their engagement session was to grab some images they could use for their Save the Date cards. Dani made these fabulous stumps.

Dani was telling me about their dating relationship and how they often will make S'mores, so I suggested we do just that! Of course, we had to figure out how to get fire to our session in a RESPONSIBLE manner on the tail end of a crazy, drought-stricken summer.

***PLEASE NOTE: The only reason I felt comfortable using fire in this session is because the groom is a firefighter. Additionally, we had a fire extinguisher on hand, as well as hot mittens to move the pot around. Please DO NOT ATTEMPT in a field after a drought-laden summer without a professional handy, ok? Thanks.

I'm going to close with a collection of just fabulous images. I love them all and just couldn't narrow them down anymore!

Dani and Devon, is it June 2013 already? Because Mike and I are jazzed about your wedding! :)
