{Wichita Wedding Photography} Brittany + Cory

Oh goodness, where to START with the yumminess that was Brittany + Cory's wedding?

These two were married about three weeks ago at Bartlett Arboretum. The day was filled with love, laughter, and ultra-fabulous details Brittany meticulously put together.

The ladies started the day at Charisma before heading to the ceremony.

Of course, with their KU engagement session, one would expect to see a Jayhawk somewhere in the wedding day.

Brittany + Cory's daughter is so sweet, and was so excited for Mommy and Daddy to get married. It was so moving to see her involvement in the day.

Of course while the ladies did girl things, of course the fellas did dude things.

Individually, an awesome looking couple.

Together, at their first look, smoldering hot!

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. We love a good "First Look," which is EXACTLY what Brittany + Cory had. It was a special moment for the two of them before we started taking photos with the bridal party and family.

LOVE the details around the Arboretum. :)

It was a beautiful walk into the ceremony site. :)

Since they have a kiddo, they were sure to have something for little fingers to be occupied with during the ceremony. Love it!

Their little girl as the flower girl - SO sweet!

Vows are so much more fun when the pastor is a friend of the couple. :)

The perfect conclusion to any wedding ceremony = rose petals. The end.

Beautiful. Family.

Breathtaking. Bride.

Fabulous. Couple.

Old Cowtown Museum is such a great reception location!

As always, the toasts were fantastic ...

... so was the party.

Thanks for inviting us to document your wedding memories, Brittany + Cory!

Deanne + Carlos' wedding slideshow

A couple of weeks ago I posted some very special moments from Deanne + Carlos' wedding. Deanne was smiling all day, and with such loving friends and family surrounding she and Carlos as they committed to spend their lives together, who could blame her?

About a dozen of Carlos' friends and family traveled to Wichita from Brazil to celebrate the nuptials. Seeing the two cultures meld together for the wedding was truly spectacular.

Deanne and Carlos, thanks again for asking us to be a part of your special day! Please CLICK HERE to see your slideshow!

Sneak Peek - Deanne + Carlos' wedding moments

Even though I consider myself to be a compositional photographer, if you asked me to name the single most important element in a successful photograph, I'd say "the moment" without hesitation. And there were no shortage of moments at Deanne and Carlos' wedding at the Church of the Magdalen - and reception at the Old Cowtown Museum - on Saturday. Like this one of Deanne and Carlos spending a quite moment together at the church following the ceremony.

Or this one, of Carlos greeting his bride at the altar with a kiss on her hand.

Or this one, of Carlos' uncle, Ivan, singing a congratulatory song (in Portugese, no less) on the trolley ride to the reception. About 20 members of Carlos' family traveled from Brazil for the wedding. Fortunately, photography is a universal language. :)

Or this one, of the anticipation of a kiss.

Or this one, as the groom dips his bride at the site of her great grandfather's barber shop. Indeed, a part of Deanne's family history is on display at Cowtown.

Or this one, of Deanne's father, Lance, as they share a dance together. During his touching speech, he said he was as proud as a father could be.

Or this one, of Cooper, left, and Pedro, right, both cousins of the couple, jammin' out on their Air Vuvuzelas at the reception, which was about as hot as the weather! Stay tuned for a slide show full of other moments from Deanne and Carlos' wedding. -Mike
