Mary + Ty's Wedding Album is IN!

YEEEE-HAW!!!!! Mary and Ty's wedding album is here and it's SO lovely. )Ok, so let's be honest, the album arrived about 6 weeks ago. We've just had so much to post on the blog, so we opted to hold off on showing off this beautiful album until now.)

I just love being able to offer so many options as far as leather for these stunning albums. It's fantastic when our couples give us creative license with their albums. They are always excited about the results!

Isn't this accent on the spine spectacular?!?!??!?

The pages of the album are beautiful, thick and durable.

Yeah, at 60 pages, it's a monster!

A few spreads I just adore to wrap up our post:

Happy Anniversary, Mary + Ty!

A year ago, Mike and I hit the road to Phillipsburg to document Mary and Ty's wedding. It was such a beautiful day, with one of the liveliest receptions we've been to.

Mary + Ty's wedding slideshow

Mary and Ty were married two weeks ago in Phillipsburg. They agreed to see each other before the ceremony so we could get all of the group formals out of the way. I'm sure glad they did! Doing so ensured that we had time for romantic portraits following the ceremony while their guests made their way to the reception. Karen and I found this old car for sale while scouting locations after rehearsal and we both immediately knew it would make a dynamic portrait. Karen shot this wide angle version while I was shooting with a longer lens.

Click here to see their wedding day coverage, which includes a few more really cool portraits!

Mary + Ty's wedding preview

Karen and I are getting ready to leave Phillipsburg, where we spent the weekend photographing Mary and Ty's wedding. Ty is soft-spoken but the way he looks at Mary speaks volumes. She's truly a beautiful bride!

Prior to the ceremony, Mary's bridesmaids, Emily and Klare, played a round of ping pong in the church basement to pass the time.

Maddie passed the time by spinning the ring bearers, Mikey and Braxton.

The sun set on a fabulous wedding day as the reception at the Phillips County fairgrounds lasted well into the night. Thanks to Mary and Ty for inviting us to share in your special day. We really had a great time! Be sure to check back in a few days for a slideshow! -Mike

Mary & Ty's Engagement

This afternoon, I headed up to Speed, Kansas, to spend some time with Mary and Ty. They are getting married in about two months, so we took engagement photos.

I love it when our couples take time before our session to find unique locations. Mary did a stellar job of pulling together some fantastic locations in rural Speed.

A side trivia note, Speed was where Hot Wheels conducted a "Need for Speed" event last fall.
