{Arkansas City Wedding Photography} Jessica + Macey

Jessica + Macey were married last month in a lovely, albeit windy, outdoor ceremony on family land near Arkansas City. I had the pleasure of meeting these two young lovebirds last year during a consultation in Wichita, then later at a fun-filled engagement shoot, and I was convinced that I wanted to be at their wedding. Despite the gusty winds, it was a great day! And though Karen couldn't be with us due to the impending birth of her first child, we hired a suitable replacement in Cary Conover, who spent the day shooting with me. So, thanks to Cary for stepping in and doing a fantastic job and thanks to Jessica + Macey for inviting me to be part of such a splendid event! -Mike

Why does this wedding's gallery expire in 3 months when your business cards indicate it will take up to 8 weeks for you to post pictures? That only gives people ONE MONTH to look at pictures and make a decision.

From the time the photos go up (which could be up to 8 weeks, but is often sooner), they will be online for 3 months. No, the clock doesn't start once the wedding is over, but when the photos go up!

Handsome couple! Young love is so beautiful. Can't wait to see that one "outstanding" picture that will need to be done up in a gallery-wrap!

@Anon 4:52 - And to follow-up on what Karen said, you're confusing our blog with our proofing site. This is not the proofing site. The proofing site will contain "all" the images shot on the wedding day and will be activated for a set period of time (determined upon which package the couple purchased) from the time it is activated, which is somewhere in the eight-week window as advertised on the card you mentioned, in order for the couple, their friends and their families, to order photos. The blog, which is what this is, is where we publish our very best and favorite images from a wedding. It's intended as a place the couple can go to view our edited selection of wedding images as well as a place to show off our work. While the proofing site will eventually expire, the photos published to our blog remain there forever.

I would like to buy an album. How do I pick out the pictures for this album...as in, how do I let you know which pictures I want. Is there a way to do this online?

Send Karen an e-mail at: karen (at) heartlandphotography.org and she can walk you through the album options!!!
