I'm fortunate to have some very wonderful friends. This is Joyce, my dear friend. She lives in Lawrence, and when I called and asked if I could bring a couple by the next day for engagement portraits, she was like
"Sure!!!" Just love her! And her amazing backyard. :)
After I finished with
Meghan & Brock's engagement session, Joyce asked if I would grab a few "quick pics" of her family. Of course, I was happy to say
"Sure!!!"

Joyce's little boy is almost exactly 6 months older than mine, so it's fun to visit her and see what he's up to ... and then wait for my little fella to start the next phase. :) And her little girl has had this MOP of hair since Day 1 .... like my little dude (except I think she actually has MORE) ... so it's always fun to see them both.
If I were to title the photos at the right, it'd be "Life with a 2-year-old." If you have or ever had a 2-year-old, you know what I'm talking about! ;)
