{Salina KS Corporate Photography} Saint Francis Community Services

Two weeks ago, I had the joy of photographing a special event for Saint Francis Community Services in Salina. As an avid reader, I was excited to photograph an event centered around the new book written by John Danforth, former U.S. Senator from Missouri and Ambassador to the United Nations, as well as an ordained Episcopal priest.

The first portion of the evening included a private cocktail party.

Familiar faces at the private gathering included the likes of Nancy Kassebaum, former U.S. Senator from Kansas.

Episcopal Bishop Wolfe also attended with his wife.

The public event was hosted at the Salina Community Theatre. The lobby was an excellent location for the speech and book signing.

I know ... I'm showing you a lot of these in B&W ... I'm just such a fan of how classic and timeless B&W photography is ... especially for political or religious-related events!

{Salina Corporate Headshots} Sunflower Bank

This spring, Sunflower Bank called and wanted to update portraits ("Corporate Headshots") in Salina. The intention was to have very clean, simple portraits that they could present in black & white for ads.

I heard all sorts of great stories throughout the morning. My favorite was from Chuck, whose granddaughter told him he was "too old" to climb into the back of mom's car for a trip to get ice cream. :) Love those grandkids!
