{Anniversary} Lindsey + Shiloh

Last year, we were braving the cold with Lindsey and Shiloh at their wedding. Despite the frigid temperatures outside, you can just feel the warm glow of love the packed church of their family and friends provided. To review our favorites from their day, please CLICK HERE.

ps-Shiloh mentioned to us at the rehearsal that when scheduling the wedding, he didn't realize it coincided with the first weekend of hunting and then quipped "I'll be missing out on it for the rest of my life to be celebrating my wedding anniversary!" We can't think of a better reason, Shiloh! Congrats again.

{Products} Mini Albums!!!

Today I want to share a SUPER CUTE album option. Meet our mini album!

We take the cover image and the last page of the album for the front (left) and back (right). Then we let you select 5 album spreads of your choice for the mini.

Closeup of the front + back. Since these were black and white, this mini is printed on metallic paper, because it makes B&W photos POP!

Here's a broader look at a full album (10x10) with the mini (3x3).

Closer up.

These come with a great slipcover, which means you can put them in your purse and they'll be protected. Simply pop it out when you want to show off your favorite album design!

Another. See? The design is exactly the same!

The other great thing about the album minis is it comes in a set of 3. That means one for the bride and one for each mom. If there are extra moms or grandmas or bridesmaids that would like one, we can add extras on!

Last spread.

And this is the mini (right) with the last page of the album (left).

If you'd like to add one to your wedding album, please let me know! This would also be a fun gift for your parents from your engagement album design, too!

{Products} Lindsey + Shiloh's Wedding Album

Oh how I love Lindsey + Shiloh's wedding album!

For the spine of her album, Lindsey chose a textured black leather that was similar to her DaMask scheme from the wedding. For the front and back covers, she went with a basic black leather, which set off the B&W image on the cover VERY nicely!

SO, SO, SO beautiful!

A little of the DaMask theme worked in.

A collage of other graphic elements in the album.

Beautiful album spread!

I loved this series of photos!

{Wedding Album Design} Lindsey + Shiloh

We're really booking it around here! Today here's a peek from Lindsey and Shiloh's wedding album design. It's super-stellar! Once we nail down some final cover details, I'll add a link on this post.

I just love it when we can tie in graphic elements from a couple's invitations ... we used some in their engagement album and are now doing the same in their wedding album. Visual continuity. Gotta love it! :)

{McPherson Wedding Photography} Lindsey + Shiloh's wedding slideshow

Last month I posted a sneak peek of Lindsey + Shiloh's wedding in McPherson. I also hinted at another post about Christmas trees. As you can see from this photo, a small grove of Christmas trees, decorated in elegant white lights, served as a backdrop to their ceremony at First Baptist Church. Karen and I both told a church official how impressed we were with how the church decorated for Christmas. And while they wanted to take credit for it, we were both told that it was all Lindsey's doing. It was her idea to line the stage with trees. It was executed beautifully and provided a striking backdrop to their ceremony. In fact, there were many striking images from their wedding day. To see a few, CLICK HERE.

{McPherson Wedding Photography} Lindsey + Shiloh sneak peek

Karen and I wrapped up our 2010 wedding season with a phenominal wedding this past weekend in McPherson. This is the lovely bride, Lindsey. Isn't she just stunning?

We have to give some mad props to the couple for being so willing to brave the elements. While it looks warm and sunny in this photo, it wasn't! We didn't get any precipitation but the north winds were howling. And their getaway car - an antique Mercury Comet - didn't have a working heater!

If nothing else, the cold temps gave the cute couple a reason to cuddle, which I don't think they minded one bit.

If there was one good thing about the wind, it helped to showcase Lindsey's cathedral veil. Not to fear, her brother, Cody, was holding the end of it just off-camera to ensure that it didn't fly away!

Because we knew the weather wouldn't be ideal, Karen and I scouted a couple of indoor locations, too. We spent a good amount of time at the McPherson Museum (see the lead image of Lindsey) where there was a beautiful window seat at a staircase landing. It made the perfect spot for a perfect portrait.

Not only was this wedding full of great portraits but also great moments, too! Here, Lindsey gets a special hug from her mother after dressing in the church's East Room. And it wouldn't be a December wedding without a Christmas tree nearby. We'll talk more about that in another post.

The ceremony was full of moments, too. I like a pastor who uses a bit of humor during a wedding. Check back in a few days for a few more great images from Lindsey + Shiloh's wedding.

Lindsey + Shiloh's Engagement album is IN!!!! :)

I'm so thrilled to be able to share a few photos of Lindsey and Shiloh's engagement album. It's simply stunning in person. Even more so because the cover is an awesome metallic! I simply love it!

Here's a closer look at the metallic finish of the cover. Like our metal prints, it's a bit difficult to actually showcase the metallic finish of our album, but that doesn't stop me from trying!

Once again, our awesome Amy pulled in design elements from the couple's wedding invites to make it visually coordinate with the whole of the wedding (also see first photo in this post).

I'm really loving these thick album pages!

Have an awesome weekend!

Lindsey + Shiloh's Engagement Album Design

Like many of our couples, Lindsey and Shiloh wanted a one-of-a-kind guest book for their wedding. So they opted for one of our Engagement Guest Albums.

Once again, we took the fonts they used from their invitation, and even incorporated the graphical elements they selected.

This is truly an ultra-fabulous album. To check out the entire design, you may CLICK HERE.

Lindsey + Shiloh's Engagement Slideshow

Woah! Narrowing down Lindsey and Shiloh's engagement photos was quite a task. That's because these two are such naturals in front of the camera!

We were walking down an alley, and Shiloh said he liked this door frame. It's fantastic when couples are actively engaged in the session, and Shiloh was full of excellent ideas.

Because these two have rural backgrounds, I was even able to dig up a Gleaner for some photos. I was a bit hesitant at first, because I know farming folks are loyal to their brand (John Deere, Chase), but both Lindsey and Shiloh assured me the vintage Allis-Chalmers was a sweet piece of machinery.

We're certainly looking forward to their December wedding, but until then, you can view more of my favorites from their engagement session by CLICKING HERE.

Sneak Peek — Lindsey + Shiloh's Engagement session

Check out the hotness that is Lindsey and Shiloh!

These two live in southwest Kansas, but were in Salina for engagement photos today. And, they're naturals in front of the camera. :)

Shiloh has been playing the guitar since high school, and so he brought it along ... which always makes for great photos, when a couple brings along props that are a meaningful to them. This photo is my own take on the "Walk the Line" movie poster. :)

A slideshow is in the works, so stay tuned!
