Sneak Peek — Amber + Bret's Engagement Session

Sunday, I headed to Bret's family farm in Burrton to photograph Amber and Bret's engagement session. These two spend the bulk of their time doing good old fashioned hard work, so of course they wanted to saddle up. :)

One year ago, we had the honor of documenting Jessica and Chirs' wedding in Los Angeles. They are such a fun-loving, carefree couple and we had SUCH a blast.

Emily's Senior Portraits

Check out how beautiful Emily was during her senior portrait session! She's such a sweetie and was up for everything I suggested, including jumping off that chair, and tromping through lots of wet grass along the side of the road to make beautiful portraits.


We were joined by Justin, the family dog (who will do about anything for a Cheerio!).


And of course we had to do some basketball-related photos!

Sneak Peek — Emily's Senior Portraits

Yesterday evening, I met up with Emily and her mom, Marsha, for some senior portraits.


These two were complete troopers! They braved a downpour (check out the clouds in the above photo.


We also encountered two stray (sopping wet) labradors who just *insisted* in becoming a part of our session.

Audrey Jane — one year later

Check out our precious Audrey Jane!


Remember how little she was last year? Her hair was a little darker back then, but otherwise she looks exactly the same.


And now .... Ericka and Sean are still as in love with their little girl as ever, and she's flourished in the last year. :)


She still has the most adorable and beautiful eyelashes!

Lastly (before our slideshow, of course), I want to give a few props to little Audrey. First ...... for this:


The "fish face" is one of my most favorite things to do to kiddos. Especially at such a young age, most kids don't have the coordination to suck in their little cheeks and do the face. It's always amusing to watch them try, but they NEVER can accomplish it. But little Audrey ..... she was a PRO! I have to say I am beyond impressed!


Final photo is a quick snap from Audrey's room ... I love to see our art on peoples' walls. Ericka and Sean did a fantastic job of selecting beautiful photos, then getting good-sized prints for the space. :)
