Sneak Peek — Baby Oscar

Yesterday I went over and photographed beautiful Baby Oscar! This chair he's on is pretty fun. But it's a blue-ish purple color. Since Oscar's Mommy and Daddy are KU alum, they were ribbing me about putting their baby on a purple chair (because let's face it, both Mike and I are KSU alum!). But I assured them it was purely artistic. ;)

And just two days later, we got together with Mommy Dawn's side of the family to do some cousins portraits. But who could resist a few more photos of mommy and baby? Not me! :)

Mary + Ty's Wedding Album is IN!

YEEEE-HAW!!!!! Mary and Ty's wedding album is here and it's SO lovely. )Ok, so let's be honest, the album arrived about 6 weeks ago. We've just had so much to post on the blog, so we opted to hold off on showing off this beautiful album until now.)


I just love being able to offer so many options as far as leather for these stunning albums. It's fantastic when our couples give us creative license with their albums. They are always excited about the results!


Isn't this accent on the spine spectacular?!?!??!?



The pages of the album are beautiful, thick and durable.


Yeah, at 60 pages, it's a monster!

Happy Anniversary, Mary + Tom!

One year ago, Mike and I spent a wonderful day documenting Mary and Tom's wedding. The day was so stunning, clear and beautiful, but there was a hint of wind. Mary and Tom were fabulous, dashing outside for a few quick photos before heading off to their magnificent reception.

Mark's Senior Portraits v. 2.0

About two months, ago, we met for Mark's Senior Portraits. We had initially hoped we'd be able to take some portraits of Mark in the Sacred Heart Gym. Our plans were foiled, however, because the girls volleyball team kept winning and progressed to state volleyball.

Today, we met up to take the last portion of his senior portraits - in uniform at Sacred Heart.

Mary + Tom's Wedding Album Design

We managed to finish up Mary and Tom's fabulous album design in a week, so I'm happy to share it today! :)

This is a 40-page beauty! We've managed to get in a ton of fabulous photos from their fantastic day.

Amber + Bret's Country wedding slideshow!

Amber + Bret were married two weekends ago at a lovely outdoor affair at the Kauffman Museum. Following the morning ceremony we set out to explore the museum grounds which included this big, red barn. The barn served as the backdrop for the ceremony but we shot this portrait from the side not seen from the ceremony. Sneak Peek — Mary + Tom's Wedding Album Design

I have to admit, I love wedding albums. When our designer is working on one, and I hear she has the first few pages designed, I start pestering her for ... "just a peek or two." I'm like that obnoxious kid in the grocery checkout line, begging for candy. The thing I like best about Amy is that she never tells me no. She always sends me killer album design teasers. :)

In a few weeks, I should be able to share the ENTIRE design! Until then ...
