{Wichita Wedding Photography} Christina + Nick's wedding preview

Christina + Nick were married last weekend in a ceremony at the Church of the Resurrection in Wichita. We're not sure who was more excited to get down the aisle, the flower girls or the bride!

This was our second time photographing a wedding at Resurrection and it has to be one of our favorite churches by far. The altar is open on both side with a high ceiling and a beautiful pipe organ that adds a touch of elegance.

Before we left the church, Christina + Nick took a few moments to themselves. Notice how a slight change in elevation creates a more dramatic photo.

Now, a lot of groomsmen pretend to be secret service operatives but none have ever shown up with the actual equipment before.

But two of these groomsmen did and it worked perfectly in keeping Christina + Nick from accidentally bumping into each other before the ceremony.

En route to the reception we spied this shaved ice stand in the parking lot of a Home Depot. So we stopped. Turns out, if you show up in wedding attire, you'll get a free sample of "Wedding Cake" flavored shaved ice - to share, of course!

Christina + Nick, we had a great time at your wedding, as did all your guests! Thanks so much for inviting us to spend it with you! Check back in a week or so for a slideshow from your entire wedding day. -Mike
