Scheduling a family portrait shoot the day after Christmas can be risky. Yet the Penner family was up to the risk! Family was in from near and far, and they were going to get some extended family photos taken!
Fortunately for us, the weather was stunning and we even had some beautiful late afternoon sunlight.

Our astute blog readers might think this field looks familiar. They would be right. These portraits were taken very near the Kansas Sampler Foundation Farm, which is owned by the Penners. After seeing Emily and Joe's wedding photos, the family asked me back for their family portraits.
